Get answers for your most perplexing puzzles learning Spanish in Jackie's Spanish Class and gain some surprising insights and life skills along the way.
This unusual class has no curriculum and is for all levels of Spanish. Here's how it works:
- Simply use your favorite online language learning platform or attend classes wherever you like for your Spanish studies.
- Bring your questions about Spanish to our online meetups and get real answers.
Jackie Ambrow, MA, CHt, CFA, is a linguistically and culturally trained applied anthropologist, former language services company founder/owner, professional English/Spanish interpreter and multilingual interpreter trainer with two decades of experience. She received her graduate training in Spanish literature, language and culture at one of the top five graduate programs in Spanish, the University of Kansas, studied abroad in Mexico twice, including graduate study on a Latin American Studies Fellowship, and taught Spanish at the University of Kansas, University of Missouri-Columbia, and Moberly Area Community College in Missouri.
Spanish Conversation with Rafael and Xochitl
Meetup online most Fridays
12 PM (Noon) Eastern (US/Canada) for 30-45 minutes
You can relax, practice and learn in this Spanish conversation class, knowing you're among supportive friends and in capable hands with a compassionate native speaker. The topic changes each week and you'll get gentle help with how to say what you want to say in Spanish. Watch your skills and confidence improve week by week as you build your speaking and listening skills in Spanish conversation!
Rafael Guerra is your teacher and a Venezuelan-born engineer with both corporate and small business ownership experience. He is a life coach and loves to help people. Rafael graciously offers his time to you for this free class. If you wish, you may offer him a financial gift in appreciation of his time and expertise.
Xochitl T. Suriano Ambrow is your Positively H.U.B. host and a US-born Mexican-American, who is herself working on improving her Spanish. Xochitl is a Certified Franchise Advisor as well as Jackie Ambrow's daughter, business partner and best friend.

We offer these Spanish classes on a donation basis, so that everyone can participate regardless of ability to pay. Some of our wonderful students participating from around the world would not be able to join us if we charged a fee.
Students who can and wish to support these otherwise free Spanish classes may offer their instructor donations of any amount.
